Free Checking
At Community, our Checking account is an exceptional value. It's FREE! And if you choose to maintain a minimum balance, it becomes better than free...we'll pay monthly dividends on your Checking account!

Sometimes called a "Share Draft" account, you'll find a Community Credit Union Checking account flexible, easy to use, and without the added fees that most financial institutions charge.

No monthly service fees.
No minimum monthly balance requirement (except to earn interest).
Unlimited check writing (no per-check fees).
Monthly statements for easy balancing.
Personal check orders -- a wide variety of low cost duplicate checks.
VISA Check Card -- a VISA card which automatically debits your Checking account and can be used to make Checking account withdrawals from cash machines on the VISA network worldwide.
Overdraft protection - automatic transfers from your Community Credit Union Savings account (limit 3 per month).
Earns interest -- when you maintain a minimum monthly balance.
Overdraft protection loans (upon credit approval).
Add Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction
Sign up to have your paycheck, retirement check or Social Security check deposited automatically into your account. You can also have a portion of your check sent for deposit or to make a loan payment through the convenience of Payroll Deduction. Almost all government and many other payroll checks qualify. Simply give us a call and we can tell you if your check is eligible to be direct deposited.

Checking Accounts Are Easy To Open
You can stop by one of our offices, or if you prefer, you can open your account by mail. Just call us and we'll send you everything you need to open your account right away.

Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction
Convenient, automatic and safe, Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction is a smart and easy way to have your paycheck automatically deposited into any of your Community accounts.

Direct Deposit gives you faster access to your funds and is safer, too. You can also save time by not having to make special trips to the Credit Union, or wait in a teller line on payday.

Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit enables a payer to send your check directly to Community Credit Union where your funds are deposited into your accounts any way you choose. It's available to all members with employers participating in the program, and members who receive any type of regular government check.

If you're not sure whether your check qualifies, please ask the payroll department representative at your company, or contact us at the Credit Union.

Payroll Deduction
You can choose to only send a portion of your paycheck to the Credit Union. Maybe you'd like to make a loan payment, or put some money into savings, the choice is yours.

VISA Check Card
Our VISA Check Card allows you to use a plastic card when making purchases, rather than writing a check. You can also use the card to withdraw cash from thousands of cash machines worldwide which display the VISA network logo.

Low Rate VISA Credit Card
A Community Credit Union VISA is the shopping and traveling companion you shouldn't be without. Our low interest rate can save you thousands of dollars in interest charges. Consolidate your bank and department store cards and you can really save some money!

Looney Tune Savers
Share savings accounts for our youngest members, ages up to thirteen (13). This account only requires a minimum of $5.00 to open and receives dividends on full balances (no minimum required). The quarterly newsletter has a special youth saver page with games and fun things to do.

Young Adult Savers
Share savings accounts for our young adults ages thirteen (13) through eighteen (18). This account requires a minimum of $5.00 to open and receives dividends on full balances (no minimum required). Our young adults are also eligible for other services with parental consent.

Club Accounts
Christmas and Vacation club accounts are available, please contact a member service representative for details.

Money Market Savings
Earn higher interest on your savings with our Money Market accounts. Certain balance and withdrawal requires and limits prevail. Contact a member service representative for details.
